Description

The 2017-2018 Master Course List for Career and Technical Education (CTE) is an administration tool for counselors, teachers, and staff's use in student schedule building and enrollment in the Texas State Data System (TSDS) with the appropriate TSDS PEIMS codes. The guide can also be helpful in assisting students in building their high school personal graduation plans.

The courses, with descriptions from the 2015 Texas Education Skills and Knowledge (TEKS) legislation, in the list are organized into two sections: Career Development and Career and Technical Education. Career Development courses are classified as either middle or high school and CTE courses are ordered by the 16 different career clusters. The grade placement, credit, prerequisite and corequisite requirements for each course are listed as well as the TSDS PEIMS code needed for accurate enrollment.
