CTE Courses Meeting High School Graduation Requirements

Beginning with the 2017-2018 school year, several CTE courses meet English, Fine Arts, Mathematics, and Science high school graduation requirements. The sections below list the CTE courses by area.

CTE Teacher Professional Development Requirements

Any CTE educator teaching one of the math or science courses that meet a high school graduation requirement (listed below) must complete a math or science professional development course. TEA provides these courses on the Gateway Courses site at no cost to the educator or school district. The courses are:
