Description

This lesson provides opportunities for students to investigate victims' rights through discussion and projects.Students in law enforcement will encounter victims of crime and need to be able to relay the rights afforded them under state and federal laws such as the  Victim and Witness Protection Act of 1982, the Victims of Crime Act of 1984, the Victims Rights and Restitution Act, the Child Victims Bill of Rights of 1990, and the Victim Rights Clarification Act of 1997.
