Description

Practicum in Education and Training is a field-based internship that provides students background knowledge of child and adolescent development principles as well as principles of effective teaching and training practices. Students in the course work under the joint direction and supervision of both a teacher with knowledge of early childhood, middle childhood, and adolescence education and exemplary educators in direct instructional roles with elementary-, middle school-, and high school-aged students. 

This binder does not contain all lesson plans for this course. This content can be used with any textbook or instructional materials. If locally adapted, make sure all TEKS are covered.

Course Learning Plan

The Practicum in Education and Training Course Learning Plan documents the relationship between the components of the course curriculum. The CLP helps educators to identify opportunities for integration among disciplines, provides a review of the assessments, and identifies the daily student learning objectives and outcomes. The CLP is mapped to the unit plans created for this course and any lesson plans aligned with those unit plans.
