Texas GEAR UP in Action: GEAR UP Club

Students at Alpine High School are getting an extra dose of support for their dreams to achieve through Project ReACH's GEAR UP Club program. Open to all sophomores at the school, GEAR UP Club gives students the experience of providing outreach to their community and doing fundraisers to earn extra money for college—taking full advantage of Project ReACH's innovative effort that creates a college savings account for every student. They've even got a recent GEAR UP alum serving as a club mentor, sharing all her college-prep experiences while they're still fresh.
